Event Description:
Enjoy a beginner-friendly practice of Kundalini yoga to release tension and facilitate a calm and meditative mind, followed by a heart-opening experience of sacred chant and spiritual song.
Kundalini Yoga with Live Music:
Kundalini Yoga is a spiritual practice offering many tools and techniques that allow us to access stillness and peace in class together and in our daily lives. The work includes mantra, breathwork, rhythmic movement, deep relaxation, and meditation to bring about balance and harmony in body, mind, emotions, and spirit. An experiential, exploratory practice, Kundalini Yoga meets you where you are; no prior yoga experience is necessary. Live drumming and soothing guitar provided by Joe Smith. Crystal bowl and vocal sound healing by Bij and Joe during deep relaxation.
Medicine of the Voice:
Follow The Oh My Starlings soulful harmonies and groovy drum beats on a journey into the heart via sacred mantras, hymns, medicine songs, and beloved folk songs. Emerge uplifted, renewed, and full of joyful appreciation for self, community, and life on this big beautiful planet.
When we gather together and join our voices with intentions of connection and true peace for ourselves and all beings, the healing ripples out in ways we cannot fathom.
