Self-Growth Improv: A Beginner Introduction

February 8 @ 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm EST
$15 – $25

This beginner-friendly improv class offers a playful and powerful pathway to personal and spiritual growth. Through simple improvisation exercises, participants will explore how being present, supportive, and flexible allows us to meet life as it unfolds—without needing a plan or judging ourselves.

We will begin with a short guided meditation to open the heart, helping us arrive grounded, receptive, and connected—ready to both give and receive.

Improv gently teaches essential life skills: active listening, adaptability, emotional awareness, and trust in yourself and others. By practicing the core improv principle of “Yes, And…,” participants learn to accept what is happening and build forward with curiosity rather than resistance. In a supportive, low-pressure environment, mistakes are welcomed as opportunities, helping quiet the inner critic, reduce anxiety, and build resilience.

This class encourages spontaneity, creativity, and self-confidence while strengthening empathy and communication. Improv shows us that we don’t need to know the next step to move forward—we just need to stay present. What emerges is greater self-trust, deeper connection, and a renewed ability to navigate uncertainty with openness and grace.

No prior improv experience is needed—just a willingness to show up as you are.”
