Intro to Cedar Bath Ceremony & Healing Trauma (outside event)

Irma Alicia Villarreal and Wally Vait will present “A Healing Journey-Take The Lesson, Leave The Trauma”.  The first part of our presentation focuses on traditional indigenous healing practices, particularly the Cedar Bath Ceremony given to us by Lillian Pitawanakwat Baa, an Ojibwa medicine woman from Birch Island, Ontario Canada. It was this ceremony, The Cedar Bath, which was conducted for both of us multiple times and for which we both received the teaching to allow us to conduct this ceremony for other people. Our discussion covers this ceremony with possible participation in this ceremony or one of several other modalities we tried with our own healing; what worked for us and how it helped us.
