Consulting the Divine Oracle I Ching: An Interactive Introduction

I Ching, the Book of Changes, is the enigmatic oracular text at the genesis of much eastern mystic practice and beyond. It predates and influences the seminal works of Taoism, Confusionism, Zen Buddhism, and extends its reach into many scientific, religious, and philosophical commentaries from global antiquity. A dynamic and living document, the I Ching has continued advising great thinkers from all walks of life for thousands of years.

Likened by many to a mirror held up to the world, casting the I Ching brings the questioner into closer attention to the patterns and flows and mysteries of life. While broadly figurative in its language, the insights from the Book of Changes are seldom inapropos, and often uncannily synchronous to the askers circumstance.

Please join us in casting the I Ching and sharing in group contemplation of our experiences. Each practitioner will be coached in setting the intention and auspicious form for their own question and guided in casting the I Ching to receive its answer from the resulting hexagram. As it helps each practitioner to process their answer, all will be invited to share their experiences and hold space in accepting embrace of the group consciousness.

No prior experience is necessary. All are welcome as long as you come with an open mind and respectful heart.
