DESCRIPTION:This event will be hosted inside our 20×30′ great room by the fire. This will be a casual event that will flow based on the interest of all in attendance. Bring any musical instrument (or use one of ours) to jam out with one another. We’ll also have yoga mats around the room in case you are feeling called to lead or join in with some body flow.\nIf the weather holds\, we will also have the opening ceremony for our newly built 50 foot Labyrinth.\nAlso\, if you are feeling up for it\, you are welcome to camp over Saturday night. That way\, you will already be here for our events on Sunday. At 10am\, we will have a drum circle inside by the fire. This will be followed by our 11am Sound Bath.\nRSVP: Space is limited so a RSVP is required. Once you have joined us for an event here\, you are welcome to text to confirm your spot. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early so you can get situated.\nFIRST TIMERS: All are welcome as long as you come with an open/positive mind and respectful heart. No prior experience necessary. SUMMARY:Sweat Lodge Ceremony
DESCRIPTION:This is poured following Lakota traditions. All are welcome as long as come with open/positive mind and respectful heart. \nTo go into the lodge\, please bring 1 or two towels and appropriate clothes to wear into lodge. Men should wear shorts and women should have long skirt and shirt covering shoulders. Traditionally\, you bring a small tobacco offering for the firekeeper and the intercessor. \nThere is no charge for this ceremony\, but each person should bring something to contribute to our potluck feast afterwards. Here are other things our center would appreciate: \n1. Blue moving blankets (we are short on these and will need some to build the lodge)\n2. Firewood (aged and preferably split 23″ long)\n3. Rocks (suitable for heating in lodge)\n4. Sage\, Sweet grass\, Flat cedar\, Tobacco\n5. Personal Blankets\n6. Paperware (plates\, cups\, napkins\, utensils\, paper towels\, toilet paper)\n7. Candles (any size unscented)\n8. Cotton Cloth Strips (yards of traditional black\, red\, yellow\, white\, blue\, green\, purple)\n9. Donations to our center are always appreciated \nWe will also be practicing songs and learning how to make prayer ties.. We have electricity in case you want to bring a crockpot. \nWe will likely go into the lodge around 5pm\, which means we should finish up no later than 7pm. . \nPlease understand that if this is your first time\, part of the teachings of this way of life our respect\, patience and generosity. DESCRIPTION:Shamanic Journeying is a direct communion experience\, where one is guided to either the Lower World (Ukhupacha)\, the Upper World (Hanaqpacha) or through the Middle World (Kaypacha). Much of a paqo’s healing work is done in the Ukhupacha\, and this is where we will travel to connect with and retrieve a totem animal. Totem animals are animal spirit guides/allies who guide you along your walk\, your journey in Life. They have medicine\, wisdom to teach you as you journey around the medicine wheel. For example\, a deer may be assisting in opening to more gentleness and intuitive\, feminine wisdom. Some totems are for life\, others stay for a season. In this shamanic journey\, you will meet a totem animal and discover how this animal is guiding you in your life. Dress for the weather in case we are around the fire. All are welcome as long as you come with an open mind and respectful heart. Please understand that we will cap the number of attendees so please RSVP beforehand and bring a mask. \nThis event will be led at the NEW LOCATION of Real Eyes Meditation Center. The address is 15406 Riding Stable rd. Property is at end of long driveway into the woods. you will drive over a small stream.
