Meetup around the Bonfire at 6\, then a short visionary meditation followed by the dance! \nBody of Fire will be our 5th Ecstatic Dance at Real Eyes Meditation Center\, all of the community feedback around dancing outside has been so positive and who doesn’t love dancing into sunset? \n  \nThe theme around this event will be to honor and carry the flame within into our connections with each other and ourselves with this dance. \nCome share your warmth with us\, dance your heart out in front of the speakers\, by yourself or with one another\, and sit by the fire and share in laughter and connection if/when you feel called to. \n  \nMeetup will be at 6pm\, then right before the music starts\, Halsey will be leading a short visionary meditation to tie our imagination to the fire so we can embody it in the dance. DESCRIPTION:RSVP is required. This will occur rain or shine. Please read this description in its entirety. \nThis is poured following Lakota traditions. All are welcome as long as come with open/positive mind and respectful heart. No prior experience is necessary. We will give an introductory talk\, review some songs and make prayer ties. \nThis is done with respect and in honor of the traditional ways\, to purify\, for the promotion and redemption of life and to honor and make relations with grandmother earth and our spiritual life. So\, please leave all ego and emotional baggage at home. No one person is more important than the other. This is about community and building relations thru this ceremony only. So\, please understand there is no need to bring crystals\, energy healing\, chanting or any other special gifts to add into this ceremony. We have many other events for those beautiful gifts. \nThere is no charge for this ceremony\, but we will have a bowl set aside for donations if you would like to offer a donation. Any donation goes directly to purchasing materials to support the ceremony and grounds. \nPlease understand that if this is your first time\, part of the teachings of this way of life our respect\, patience and generosity. So\, there may be several reasons one might be asked to offer support and pray outside the lodge. Additionally\, one person will be needed to be the firekeeper. People are also welcome to come observe and support without going into the sweat lodge. \nPart of this ceremony is the work we do beforehand to clean and prepare the grounds. So\, please show up in work clothes. Don’t worry if you are physically unable to do manual labor. There’s always a way you can help out. If you have a rake\, work gloves\, chainsaw\, maul\, or other tools\, please bring them just in case. There will be time before the ceremony to change into your sweat attire. \nTo go into the lodge\, please bring 1 or two towels and appropriate clothes to wear into lodge. Men should wear shorts and women should have long skirt and shirt covering shoulders. Traditionally\, you bring a small tobacco offering for the firekeeper and the intercessor. \nCEREMONIAL MEAL: Part of this ceremony is for the community to enjoy a meal after the sweat. Each person should bring something to contribute to this potluck meal. Also\, paper wear is always appreciated. \nIMPORTANT DIRECTIONS: The address is 15406 Riding Stable rd. We will be drinking ceremonial grade tea (Tea plant\, Camellia Sinensis)\, while steeping in community and meditation. The tea ceremony sees the simple task of preparing a drink for a guest elevated to an art form\, an intricate series of movements performed in a specific order.\nThis event is great for someone that struggles with meditation\, as people find it easier to slip into meditative states with tea. Along with being deeply relaxing it’s also a joyful ceremony to be accompanied with music and poetry. Join us as we bring in the new season. \nThe Tea Ceremony will be Followed by a Pipe ceremony; following Anishinaabe traditions. There will likely be several pipe carriers sharing their pipe\, traditions and experiences as they traveled the red road. The pipe is loaded with tobacco and other local herbs. There are no drugs in the pipe. DESCRIPTION:RSVP is required.  Please read this description in its entirety. \nThis is poured following Lakota traditions. All are welcome as long as come with open/positive mind and respectful heart. No prior experience is necessary. We will give an introductory talk\, review some songs and make prayer ties. \nThis is done with respect and in honor of the traditional ways\, to purify\, for the promotion and redemption of life and to honor and make relations with grandmother earth and our spiritual life. So\, please leave all ego and emotional baggage at home. No one person is more important than the other. This is about community and building relations thru this ceremony only. So\, please understand there is no need to bring crystals\, energy healing\, chanting or any other special gifts to add into this ceremony. We have many other events for those beautiful gifts. \nThere is no charge for this ceremony\, but we will have a bowl set aside for donations if you would like to offer a donation. Any donation goes directly to purchasing materials to support the ceremony and grounds. \nPlease understand that if this is your first time\, part of the teachings of this way of life our respect\, patience and generosity. So\, there may be several reasons one might be asked to offer support and pray outside the lodge. Additionally\, one person will be needed to be the firekeeper. People are also welcome to come observe and support without going into the sweat lodge. \nPart of this ceremony is the work we do beforehand to clean and prepare the grounds. So\, please show up in work clothes. Don’t worry if you are physically unable to do manual labor. There’s always a way you can help out. If you have a rake\, work gloves\, chainsaw\, maul\, or other tools\, please bring them just in case. There will be time before the ceremony to change into your sweat attire. \nTo go into the lodge\, please bring 1 or two towels and appropriate clothes to wear into lodge. Men should wear shorts and women should have long skirt and shirt covering shoulders. DESCRIPTION:  \nThis is both an important and potent time of year as we cross through the equinox\, welcome spring and experience our first thunderstorm. \nThis is both an important and potent time of year as we cross through the equinox\, welcome spring and experience our first thunderstorm. \nPlease join us as we bring two great ceremonies together to celebrate and experience these teachings as we connect with grandmother earth. \nCacao\, originates in Mesoamérica and is of the Theobroma genus. Theobroma can be translated to “Food of the Gods”. Although her history is blanketed in mystery\, the Theobroma genus has been dated to over 10 million years old\, with Cacao as one of the oldest trees in this genus. By intentionally connecting with Cacao\, we are connecting with a plant that has been around longer than the Andes Mountains! An ancient medicine\, Grandmother Cacao is a heart opener. It is said she shows herself where the medicine of Love and Harmony with Pachamama and all her relations is needed. \nThrough opening the heart\, Cacao enables us to hear our true self\, work through blockages and past traumas\, dissolve any pent-up negative energy\, and help us align with who we truly are. She can help to ease our everyday stresses and worries\, as she encourages us to get more in tune with our positive\, optimistic\, joyful side. A Sacred Cacao ceremony is rooted in helping to re-balance the energies within us\, and restore good health\, harmony and wholeness. \nThe pipe ceremony will be conducted following Anishinaabe traditions. There will likely be several pipe carriers sharing their pipe\, traditions and experiences as they traveled the red road. The pipe is loaded with tobacco and other local herbs. There are no drugs in the pipe.
