We will begin with an introduction\, review some songs\, and create prayer ties before entering the lodge together. \nPreparation & Work Together \nAn important part of the ceremony is caring for the land beforehand. Please come in work clothes and bring gloves. If you have tools such as a rake\, chainsaw\, weed whacker\, or maul\, feel free to bring them. If physical labor isn’t possible for you\, there are always other meaningful ways to help. Time will be given to change into your sweat attire before the ceremony begins. \nAbout the Ceremony \nThis sacred tradition is typically held in honor of the Lakota ways—for purification\, renewal of life\, and deep connection with Grandmother Earth and Spirit. However we also invite in elders from other communities. thus teachings may come from other traditions as well. \nWe ask that you come with humility\, leaving behind ego and unnecessary burdens. She is also a Reiki Master\, a certified Chakra Energy Healing Practitioner\, an accredited T’ai Chi Chih teacher\, a Black Belt in kenpo karate\, and a singer and firekeeper for Native American sweat lodge ceremony. \nSharon was led to study and assist with numerous classes in Chakra Energy Healing since 1998. She has also studied extensively at T’ai Sophia Institute for the Healing Arts (now MUIH)\, with Rosalyn Bruyere\, world renowned energy healer. \nSharon sees healing as a big puzzle\, and she finds that Spot Energy Chakra Healings including dialogue and insights are a much quicker and more effective piece of the puzzle. She agrees that healers are actually conduits for the energy that supports the body’s innate wisdom to heal itself\, although she considers herself to be an active contributor. DESCRIPTION:This guided ceremony will begin with Cacao; followed by two meditative shamanic Journeys. If the weather is nice\, this will be held outdoors around the fire in our large fire circle. If not\, we will move it to our fire indoors. We do not announce the style or direction of our journeys ahead of time as we wait to be guided with spirit and the soul of the group arriving. \n  \nSome journeys take us to the lower worlds and some have us meeting with spirits from higher realms. We typically start with inviting in the spirit of Cacao to help open our hearts and then follow with two guided journeys\, each with time after to journal and share. \n  \nTransformative Cacao Ceremony: This will be a journey into the heart guided by the healing power of sacred cacao. Rooted in ancient traditions\, this ceremonial experience honors and offers a safe\, nurturing space for reflection\, connection\, and renewal. With Cacao\, we will open our hearts\, set our intentions and awaken the sacred space for the shamanic journeys. \n  \nGuided Shamanic Journey: Often\, these include guided visualization into the realms of Earth Magic and include other elementals. Others include bringing in energetic systems such as trance posture\, drumming\, rattles as we access deeper states of awareness\, inner healing\, and spiritual connection. DESCRIPTION:Required. Please read this description in its entirety. We will be splitting wood and raking. if you have any\, please bring chainsaws\, axes\, rakes and safety items. If this is your first time joining for this ceremony here\, it is important you arrive no later than 1:30pm \nBeloved Community\,\nYou are warmly invited to join us for a sweat lodge ceremony. All are welcome who arrive with an open mind and a respectful heart. No prior experience is needed. We will begin with an introduction\, review some songs\, and create prayer ties before entering the lodge together.\nPreparation & Work Together\nAn important part of the ceremony is caring for the land beforehand. Please come in work clothes and bring gloves. If you have tools such as a rake\, chainsaw\, weed whacker\, or maul\, feel free to bring them. If physical labor isn’t possible for you\, there are always other meaningful ways to help. Time will be given to change into your sweat attire before the ceremony begins.\nAbout the Ceremony\nThis sacred tradition is held in honor of the Lakota ways—for purification\, renewal of life\, and deep connection with Grandmother Earth and Spirit. We ask that you come with humility\, leaving behind ego and unnecessary burdens. All are equal here. Please understand this is a time for community\, and practicing opening our hearts. So there’s no need to bring in other practices such as crystals\, chanting\, or energy healing. That way\, it’s just you coming into the lodge\nThere is no fee to attend.
