DESCRIPTION:This event is for anyone interested in learning some ceremonial songs sung in the Lakota tradition. No prior experience necessary! All are welcome as long as you come with an open mind and respectful hearts.\n\nWe will teach you a few basic songs\, including sweat lodge songs. We will cover Lakota language pronunciation\, translation\, and Song structure. Drumming may also be incorporated. For those who have attended our sweat lodge ceremonies\, you may recognize some of the songs. This is a great opportunity to learn the songs\, ask questions\, and practice your singing. Bring your beautiful voice and an open heart!\n\nThere is no charge for this event\, but donations are appreciated.\n\nWe are the red house at the very end of the 1/2 mile driveway. Please be mindful to drive extra slowly (under 10mph) on our shared drive. thank you
