SUMMARY:Embodied Sound Circle -Vocal Toning
DESCRIPTION:Vocal Toning is a unique form of meditation. It can be practiced in a group or alone. Group toning is energizing\, empowering and easy to do. \nParticipants create tones\, basic vowels sounds that resonate with themselves. In a group circle\, each person adds to his or her own tone to the mix\, which begins to build a tapestry of sound. This practice of breathing and creating communal sound is an intuitive\, joyful and playful practice that produces variety of energetic cleansing and healing effects. \nFacilitator\, Michael Gallelli\, a shamanic practitioner and sound activator\, will be facilitating this communal circle of Vocal Toning. The basics in the personal practice of toning will be covered\, then we will tone several rounds of energetic and cleansing harmonic toning with the group. \nYou are also welcome to stay after to join our drumming circle\, which starts at 730.  The drumming circle is included in your donation. \nCost: Donation based..Sliding scale( $15-25).

SUMMARY:Fireside Community Drum Circle
DESCRIPTION:All are welcome to join in (or sit back and relax) as long as you come with an open mind and respectful heart. No experience or skill set needed. \nWe supply some personal drums\, rattles and flutes but definitely encourage you to bring your own. There is no formal format; we just enjoy the moment and make music based on who shows up and contributes. Other instruments are welcome as well. \nIf you’d like to add some Vocal Toning to our sounds\, come join our Embodied Vocal toning class that starts just before this (at 7pm). \nThis is a donation based event so pay whatever you feel inspired to offer.
