DESCRIPTION:This is a brief intro for persons new to meditation and mindfulness or for those looking for a refresher. This will include a intro with Q&A regarding postures\, mental focus\, state of mind/emotion/body\, breath work and techniques to support such. This will also include short practice to begin the relationship and well as a review of best practices. \nAll are welcome. The cost for this offering is $5; or $15-25 if you wish to stay and join our immediately following event from 730 to 9pm; “A Journey thru Alternative Meditation Practices”. As our goal is to support our entire community and not turn people away\, we offer a pricing scale.

SUMMARY:Meditation Practice: a Journey thru Alternative Practices
DESCRIPTION:Come join us for a discussion and practice with a range of alternative styles of Meditation. Meditation is a relationship so it’s important to explore a wide range of meditation techniques so you can discover which styles resonate best with you while also not limiting the potential of your journey. This will include an open forum so we can explore facets important to our attendees. Practices will range from things such as mantras\, chants\, mudras\, guided visualizations\, mindfulness\, sound\, trance\, posture\, color\, crystals\, intentions\, introspection\, mandalas and much more. Each event will vary as will typically explore and practice 2 to 3 styles per event. All all welcome as long as you come with an open mind and respectful heart. Cost is $15 to $30 depending on your comfort level. If you plan to attend this event\, you can also join our complimentary offering immediately preceding this at 7pm\, which is an “Introduction to Meditation & Mindfulness”.
